Hi! I’m Charlotte.
I’ve always felt like I live two dreams.
The ski bum dream. Live out of a converted van. Chase snow. Leave no trace.
I grew up in a small rural town in the foothills outside of Lake Tahoe with my mom. My dad put me on a pair of skis when I was 2. And my entire life, I’ve always felt most fulfilled in nature.
I’m at home when I’m on a hike, in the mountains, by the water, in a forest or in the countryside.
The bosslady dream. Work hard. Create something meaningful to the world around me. Leave a mark.
I am proud to call Lake Tahoe home.
I lived in San Francisco for 11 years and have worked at tech companies in marketing for the last 15 years. Now that I’m in Tahoe I no longer have to escape the city most weekends for another adventure. I am the local Truckee Chapter leader for an organization called Wandering Wyld, hosting events for local women entrepreneurs.
I’ve fallen in love with being in the thick of it all.
Starting The Ski Retreat as a passion project is my attempt at the best of both worlds. Sharing the best of life in nature intimately with a community of bossladies.
When I’m not writing autobiographical pages about myself, I’m usually itching to get off my computer—to get outside and/or go check out any local events.
I spend most of my free time with the people I love most—my husband, my best girlfriends, my family, and my two doggies - Oink and Brandi #GirlDogPower
It means the world to me that you’re even reading this, and I sincerely hope we get to meet one weekend this season.
